Our component system is designed to track multiple suppliers across the United States and Canada to ensure that we have access to a wide range of computer components. While this allows us to provide a diverse selection of products, it can also increase the time it takes to obtain them. With so many suppliers to coordinate with, there may be delays in shipping, processing, or communication. However, we believe that the benefits of having a diverse network of suppliers far outweigh the potential drawbacks, as it enables us to offer more options and better serve the needs of our customers. 

We are confident that this gives us a competitive advantage over our counterparts in the USA, who have a limited range of components to offer.


Our suppliers offer a range of shipping speeds when shipping from the USA to Canada, which can impact the assembly time of our computer systems. While some suppliers may offer expedited shipping options, others may only offer standard shipping, which can take longer to arrive. This means that the delivery times for different parts can vary significantly, and we need to take this into account when planning our assembly schedules. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we have accurate delivery estimates for all of our components.

You have the option to choose your desired assembly speed, and by selecting a faster assembly level, we ship your selected components from our suppliers within the time window you have specified. This enables us to prioritize the delivery of these components to Extreme PC, ensuring that we meet your desired assembly speed. We ensure to communicate any anticipated delays to our customers, to set realistic expectations.

Some of our more affordable systems are designed to be less complex with fewer component choices sourced from only Canadian suppliers, which helps to minimize assembly times.
